Brickwork, pathway and decking in large garden Professional is the key word I would use to describe this company. While quoting for the work they came up with creative and useful suggestions. When doing the work they were punctual, consistently applied, courteous and the team leader communicated well. I was impressed by how tidy they kept the site during the work and how they left it afterwards. The quality of the work is excellent. Clearly they know what they are doing and they do it very well. Porcelain patio We had a old large decking area, approx 50sqm, which we wanted replaced with a porcelain patio and pergola. Joe came round to discuss our requirements and we immediately felt comfortable with him. A few weeks later work was started by Joe, Will and Darryl.

New patio and hard landscaping Joe, Will and Daryl did a tremendous job removing and replacing our old patio. Access is challenging, they worked like trojans,removing the rubble and bringing in the new indian sandstone patio which looks amazing, complete with new galvanised aqua gullies. In addition to the new patio they did a sterling job rebuilding some walls in keeping with the rest of the garden which is predominantly yorkstone hard landscaping / rockeries. The existing yorkstone patio was also repaired and repointed and now looks the part. All in all, we couldn't be happier with the choice we made.Definitely use again

Repoint House Wall Joe was the most reasonably priced trades-person we had quote to re-point the side of our house, and he and his dad did a brilliant job, even with the poor weather causing them problems. The work was of a high standard with care taken to reduce as much impact to the garden and driveway as possible, and cleaned up well after. I would definitely recommend.

Paving small back garden Very pleased with the sandstone paving replacing a sloping small grass area and previous flagstones. Some small adjustments had to be made which Joe came back to complete very quickly. The boys were very tidy and pleasant.

Repointing front of house Highly recommend JH&Co. They repointed the front of our house and did an excellent job. Worked super hard and cleaned everything up as much as they could (Repointing is inherently messy!)

New patio and path relai We wanted our old patio, and side path replacing, and were lucky enough to contact J H and Co Paving and Brickwork for a quote. Joe was very helpful when he came to do the quote, taking note of our requirements, and making additional comments. Joe, Will and Mason were a great team, very professional, hardworking, and punctual. In under a week and a half we had a new patio (a vast improvement on the old one) and a new side path to the garage. Nothing was too much trouble, the work was carried out without any fuss, and to a high standard. We can definitely recommend them, and will use them again.

A raised 5 x 5 m. Porcelain tiled patio with steps ascending 1.5 m. The task was not an easy one because of the slope and with much ground To retain with brickwork. Our initial plans were not precise, but with Joe's advice, the patio and its steps unfolded to a very attractive conclusion indeed. They started promptly, worked solidly and always on good humour. Always keen to listen. There was no question as to their joint expertise. I cannot recommend Joe and his team highly enough.

Repointing the front of the house and repairing a patio. Joe and his brother were very helpful and courteous. As our job was relatively simple Joe was able to squeeze us in between other work. They turned up on time all three days they were here and even worked Saturday morning to get the job done in three days. The quality of their work is good. We are especially pleased with the patio. Joe and his brother cleared up at the end of each day and left the site tidy. We would use them again in the future.

Patio renovation Delighted with our new patio, the old slabs and brick wall removed to create a better space. They were professional and excellent communicators in all their dealings with us. We've recently had some torrential rain and the patio held up very well under the deluge! Garden patio and front path Joe and family and friends are good workers. Communication throughout was easy, arrival on time every day and they were all very hard workers. Price very fair. Initially working in the very wet month of March Joe kept turning up and did what he could despite all the rain filling his trenches. Wisely deferred the last parts of the job to end of May and now all is completed. Post lady, delivery drivers, neighbours, family and friends all remark on how impressive the front path now looks, and we are delighted to have a flat, level, smart patio out back.

Laying a patio together with the required drainage We had not used Joe and Will before but they were everything we wanted. They kept us informed of their start date and once they started they were thoroughly professional. New driveway and flower beds with all perimeter trim. JH Brickwork have done an absolutely fantastic job on our front garden and driveway. Couldn’t recommend Joe and his team more highly. Very organised from start to finish and took the minor decisions out of my hands making the right call at every step. Design has come out way ahead of our expectations. This is all despite the horrific weather conditions. They thoroughly persevered through snow, rain, wind and cold to get the job finished in good time and within the budget from the get go. Repair paths either side of the house and add drainage Joe and Will were great, hardworking, flexible and conscientious. Joe and his team applied external render to the front and side of the property; and raised a gatepost plinth by adding 2 courses of bricks. All work was undertaken to a high standard and was competitively priced. Joe and the team were equally very helpful, informative and tidy. There was good communication throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending Joe and will keep his details for future reference.

Replace rotting timber piling retaining wall with a brick wall. Joe came out really quick to provide a quote, and this proved to be the marker for the efficiency of not only Joe, but his brother Will, and his Dad. They turned up as promised, on time, and grafted. Site left tidy every night, and after overcoming some obstacles, built a really solid looking retaining wall, and sourced a plasterer to complete the rendering. We're very happy and would recommend Joe and has team for their good manners and good humour, as well as their workrate and finish.

To build a patio, replace a pathway and and rebuild a wall I asked for a quote for a patio to be built and a path replaced and retaining walls. The quote explained exactly what was to be done. The work was completed to a high standard and throughout the job everything was explained especially any changes needed. They were polite, friendly and on time everyday. I couldn’t be happier with the work and everything was left tidy and clean. I found the price competitive and fair.

They have laid a new patio, created splendid steps and repaired crumbling brickwork as well as our drive. To create a path to the front Door The finished front path looks great. They had to cut out the old concrete and re lay a smooth path to the door with edging tiles and a few decorative tiles . They did a really good job . It makes a huge difference to the front of the house.

To build steps, extend a wall and build a patio Last year Joe and his team carried out extensive work to change our front garden into a car standing. We were so impressed with the quality of his work we asked him back to reinvent the back garden. Joe and his brother Will built steps, extended a retaining wall, built a patio and Joe arranged for his friend Kyle (carpenter) to install a decking area and erect a batten fence. Once again we could not be more pleased with the excellent results of their labours. We have had lots of interest from

Brick repointing. New brick patio for the front garden. Joe did a fantastic job, repointing our 120 year old Edwardian home. He did the back a few years ago and again he perfectly matched the cement to the original. When you look at other houses you can see a real difference. He also created using new bricks, a beautiful front garden patio. He expertly cut them to fit into a tricky drain cover. Our neighbour was so impressed she has booked him to do her front garden to. Joe and his brother worked very hard, through the heatwave and at the end of each day always tidied up. Joe is polite, reliable and a craftsman - we highly recommend him.

I took out a window and Joe bricked it up. A window needed bricking you and there were also some old holes with the wrong bricks in. I asked Joe to find some bricks to match the existing house so it all tied in together.

Built a low border wall, steps and small patio at the front of our house. Joe and his brother were very impressive. They were always on time cautious and clean. Their work was of a very high quality. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Repointing In August 2019 we used Joe of J.H. Brickworks to replace our concrete driveway with block paving. He did a terrific job. Based on this good experience we invited Joe back to repoint the front of our large late 1920's built two storey semi-detached house. The quality of the work, in a word, Excellent! J.H. Brickworks have now become our go to people for any future works that we may we need done that matches their skill sets. No hesitation to recommend to all.

50sqm Sandstone patio Joe impressed me from our very first meeting because he took great care to understand our requirements, offered suggestions and was very honest about how the winter weather might impact on the completion on the project but that his team would be flexible and work around any adverse conditions. They are a family business, father and 2 sons, all of whom are extremely courteous and hard working. They worked through the cold weather, without fuss, producing a perfectly formed patio with a beautiful curved finished edge and 3 sets of well constructed steps. Great team and excellent craftsmanship.

Removed decking and put down a patio. We are delighted with the patio that Joey put down for us. He quoted an incredibly reasonable price and I was very impressed with his work ethic. Brick paviours laid with low retaining wall in back garden. Joe and his colleagues worked very hard - even bringing a gazebo so they could work in the rain. The block paving looks very good and the low retaining wall finishes it off neatly. Joe also came back a few days later to brush in some additional finishing sand as he wanted to wait for dry weather to ensure it brushed in properly.

Large rear patio and front steps with wall and path Jo and Darryl worked hard to get this large job finished in the time that they had. This is the second job they have done for us and we are extremely pleased with both. The rear patio was a difficult job with several different levels and slopes, the result is better than we had hoped. The front wall was built out of reclaimed bricks and again we’re very pleased with the result. We have no hesitation in recommending this small but professional company.

Joe and his team completed not just the re-paving of the swimming pool area but transformed the existing brickwork such that the whole area looked as though it had only just been built. Joe was very thoughtful in their approach not just to this area but the patio they laid at the rear of the house.
